Zaga Pocekovic, the Maryland Terp’s 6’5″ freshman center just days after arriving from Yugoslavia, being a little homesick amid the empty seats of Cole Field House.

This is one of my favorite photos – partly for the photo itself, and partly from my being able to capture what (less than an hour before) she told me she was feeling.
