RSS Feed Once Again Feeding
Jan 5th, 2009 | By CJ | Category: Announcements
Well…that took a while.
The upgrade to version 2.7 of WordPress created a little bit of a mess for many of us serving RSS feeds. A blank line here, a wonky plug-in there…so many things to go wrong.
For this blog, it was one option in the YARPP (Yet Another Related Posts Plugin v2.1.6) plugin. Once I zeroed in on it and turned it off, the feed was restored.
This has been a major problem since the upgrade as some people were seeing the feed, most weren’t, and…well, it was just an all around mess. You can imagine my relief now that things are back to normal with that.
I’m hoping that the next Wordpress upgrade will solve the page-load sluggishness. It’s not just y’all, it bugs me, too.
