Thumb Twiddling

Not enjoying this spell of the flu. It’s not that it’s a particularly bad flu, but I’m SO FREAKIN’ BORED!!! Then there’s the thing that I shouldn’t be having the flu in the first place, what with having gotten a flu shot four months ago and all. Turns out the stupid vaccine is only 40% effective this year. Blech.

These are the times when I wish I had good phone friends that I’ve known a while. Shoot, I’d even settle for some relatives at this point :-) Well, hopefully I’ll be feeling more up to speed tomorrow so I can actually get stuff accomplished. I’ve still got an hour or so to finish the Jess Loves Kenai practice, have a novel to polish, a new novel to outline, a couple of pieces of art to prep, web pages to build, taxes to do (both mine and my mom’s), and a whole list of other stuff on the to-do board. I’m just not in the mood to be lying around. It’s frustrating. It would be easier to bitch with someone I love…but I think everyone’s asleep. Oh well.
