The Connor Wars F0302 – “Tempest Tossed”
May 17th, 2009 | By CJ | Category: TTSCCHere is the second installment of Terminator – The Sarah Connor Chronicles fanfic that picks up where the second season finale left off. As I mentioned before, I was so enthusiastic about the possibilities presented when the season ended that I just had to keep it going regardless of what happens with the suits at FOX.
The first thing you’ll probably notice is that I changed the name of the series to Terminator: The Connor Wars. I think that more accurately conveys what this project will cover as well as it being a lot easier to say.
As I disclaim on the title page, this is just meant to be a bit of fannish fun in the long spirit of the various fan communities. I’m not intending to step on any toes.
I should also say that anyone connected with the show should bail out now so your legal department doesn’t get mad at you (assuming of course the show hasn’t been shuttered).
Tempest Tossed
Now we start down the road of John trying to become “The” John Connor while also learning some of the ins and outs of the world he’s now in.
Sarah is in her own new world as she starts to assemble a new team to help her in the battle against Skynet…and discovers a “gift” from Cromartie during their first mission.
You’ll notice that the life of the civilians is different hear than it was presented in the past. Why? Because people have an amazing ability to create their own civilizations when you get enough of them together. It just seems to happen. Besides, JD was about 15+ years ago…more than enough time for a lot of the shock to have worn off.
I hope you won’t be shy about leaving comments or debate points with each other either here or in the newly created discussion area in the forum for this episode.
For those who wonder about such things: this eppie was penned in 5 days.
(With the size it is, the PDF seems to read easier if you zoom to 66.7% and then scroll the text horizontally so it’s centered.)

Oh, and before I get emails about this. The PDF file I generated has the setting to allow people to print out the script turned off. If you are having trouble with the plug-in, click here.

I wish I knew why I can’t see these. I get a shockwave notice and the bar stops advancing. I checked and I have adobe reader and shockwave.
Do you have the most recent versions of Reader and Shockwave? If not, try them, may solve the problem (did for me). You might have to reload the page by-passing any browser cache (for Windows Firefox users, that’s Ctrl-F5).
If that doesn’t work, what OS are you using? Knowing that might help me track down the problem.
I love where you’re going with these and will continue to read and enjoy them. Especially now that our beloved show is cancelled
This particular one I found a little slow for my taste, I understand however that things take a lot of setting up with a plot as complicated as TSCC (if only FOX realised this!!). I like that you’ve made Allison slightly more girly and compassionate in this one instead of a complete hardass! Unlike John who seems to be going the opposite way, while still kind, he’s becoming the hardass we all want him to be.
Keep it up!!
Well done. I was unsure about your first episode but this one grabbed me und pulled me right into the story. I really like where this is going with the introduction of “La Cazadora” (if I’m guessing your plans correctly).
Great writing friend, made an account so that I could post that you are doing me and others a great service by keeping that little spark from the canceled TTSCC burning. Thank you for keeping the story going, will check up on this from time to time. Wish you the best of luck. Great writing, very interesting.
As with the comment above mine, i joined the site so that i could say that this is awesome and I am amazed at how easy it is to see these as actual episodes in my head, i have a copy of the soundtrack and easily throw the songs on when reading certain parts and it just feels right, please, do not stop, you’ve given all of us fans a chance to see what should happen where the shows leaves off, i look forward to more of your installments just as much as i did each episode of the show when it was on, thank you so much for bringing this to the community
I never thought about using the soundtrack as background while reading. What a cool idea. I wonder if that would work for writing, as well? (So y’all know, I write in silence…well, except for me mumbling the lines.)
I can honestly say that there are moments when I’m reading the finished script that even I forget that I wrote it and just enjoy the episode. It probably doesn’t hurt that I’m a bit of a spoiler-hound, and I get that rush of excitement that I have an idea of what’s coming. (Only an idea. Nothing carved in stone…it isn’t so until it’s in print and posted.)
