Please, Correct Your Aspect Ratio
Mar 6th, 2009 | By CJ | Category: Gripes, SnippetsOK, this is driving me nuts. People, attend to your aspect ratios. I’m sick to death of 16:9 (widescreen) videos being scrunched to 4:3 (normal). Though it happens a little less frequently, stretching 4:3 vids to fit 16:9 is just as awful.

Taiyo Yuden DVD+R
Nov 20th, 2005 | By CJ | Category: PicksI’ve lately been using Taiyo Yuden DVD+Rs when I do my DVD recordings. This brand is considered to be the gold-standard, and after using several cake boxes of Shiny Silver 8x discs, I can see why.
