It’s become clear that the Chicago Sky and Kristi Toliver haven’t exactly had the most ideal of campaigns in 2009. Seems to me like Head Coach and GM Steve Key erred on draft day.

2009 WNBA Pre-Training Camp Quick Thoughts

May 4th, 2009 | By CJ | Category: Women's Basketball

This is going to be one wacky preseason in the WNBA. I’d expect that in the coming weeks there is going to be a lot of player movement as marketable players get waived due to the 11-man roster as well as cap issues.

The 2009 WNBA 11-player Roster SNAFU

Apr 9th, 2009 | By CJ | Category: Women's Basketball

Mar 21st, 2009 | By CJ | Category: Gripes

The 2009 NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament, like any 64-team tournament, holds the promise of many interesting games. Games that will be competitive. Games featuring teams I want to watch. This tournament is touted by ESPN as having all the games available. Well…perhaps for some.

First Thoughts – 2009 NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament

Mar 16th, 2009 | By CJ | Category: Women's Basketball

Maryland Lady Terps Win 2009 ACC Tournament

Mar 8th, 2009 | By CJ | Category: Women's Basketball

It was another battle to save in the vault between the Terps and the Blue Devils. Though this was the first time they met in the ACC Tournament finals, it wasn’t their first meeting in a final in their history.
