11/29/08 – Yep…with the weather getting colder, I had to move away from the easel and tend to things like pesky yard work and winterizing the ol’ homestead. A side-effect of this has been me not having done any painting to speak of since my previous update. That isn’t to say that I haven’t had occasion to be arty, just not with painting…but that’s another post.
Unfortunately, all of my painting projects have fallen off their previously well-honed schedules. Oh well.
Hopefully I’ll be back in my now very low-temp studio very soon. The space heater will be blasting away on high and the sweatshirts will be donned. I’m not a big fan of the start of the cold season, but after a month or so, I find it almost a comfort for painting.
