With one piece of fanfic under my belt, I decided to try something a little more ambitious.

I wondered what the beginning of Tess’ and Duncan’s relationship might have been like. I started from the scene in the first season where Duncan jumps into her tour boat and went on from there — adding what I thought was an interesting speculation as to another beginning within the Highlander universe.
